Our Programs

Driving Change Through Action, Innovation, and Empowerment

Comprehensive Programs for Inclusive Development

At Bodoland Development Foundation, we believe that meaningful progress comes from focused programs that touch every aspect of life — education, health, livelihood, environment, and cultural preservation. Our initiatives are designed to empower individuals, strengthen communities, and ensure sustainable development for generations to come.

Our Flagship Programs

Building Skills. Empowering People. Transforming Bodoland.

The Bodoland Development Foundation (BDF) runs impactful programs that empower youth, women, and communities through skills, livelihoods, education, and sustainability. Together, we are shaping a stronger, self-reliant Bodoland.

Skilling Bodoland Initiative

Training underprivileged youth in trades like electrical work, automobile repair, fitting, and refrigeration. In partnership with Assam Kaziranga University and BTC, the program helps youth gain jobs and build brighter futures.

Promoting renewable energy-based livelihoods in partnership with SELCO Foundation. The program supports farmers and entrepreneurs with solar-powered solutions that improve income and reduce drudgery.

Empowering women artisans in Udalguri through Eri silk weaving, financial literacy, and digital training. Supported by Resham Sutra, this program helps women earn independently and keep traditional crafts alive.

Stitching Futures

Providing cutting and tailoring training for underprivileged women to help them start small businesses, gain confidence, and support their families.

Fin Rwdwmkhang Mission

A rehabilitation program for former insurgents, offering training in dairy, poultry, and rice milling to help them rebuild lives with dignity and peace.
